Abigail currently has aquatic physical therapy, occupational and physical therapy in the clinic, hippo (on horses) occupational therapy and speech in school and the clinic weekly.

In early 2004 we were led to a fairly new study in pediatrics, Constraint Induced Therapy now called ACQUIRED therapy. This is a research study at the University of Alabama Birmingham for children with hemiplegia (one side being involved). Abigail attended this therapy Spring of 2004, 2005 and 2008. She has attended Conductive Education in Orlando Florida for children with motor disabilities yearly from spring of 2006. These therapies are not recognized by insurance therefore, we incur all cost. Birmingham is approximately $15,000 each time and Orlando cost is 2500.00 for the clinic.
